    1. I thought I'd start the New Year off with some good old Harlequin Presents. It's high drama with an evil OW, a hot but dumb as brick husband, and a naive and insecure heroine. I enjoyed it for what it is: a quick, angsty, and train-wrecky read. That said, I wish there was more grovel, which seems to be like this elusive unicorn in HP land. The hero did something really, really dumb and it took only one conversation and declaration of love and the heroine was again putty in his hands. But like I [...]

    2. The HP Second Chance GameDirections: Unscramble to enjoy yet another HP story1. OW is like a sister to the hero2.Heroine is a garden designer3.Evil Aunt tells heroine the hero only married her to have children4. Hero threatens to withhold financial help for heroine's parents if she doesn't return5. Hero drops everything when OW calls6. Heroine faints on hero's Greek island7. Hero asks heroine's friend all about her - including how many siblings she had8. Evil aunt doesn't tell the hero that the [...]

    3. As far as HP's go, this one didn't work for me. It was filled with all the familiar HP tropes, but they were poorly executed. She really needed therapy and he needed to care about his wife beyond just their bedroom.

    4. Heroine was an idiot who believed everyone but her poor husband. She was so mean and bitchy I wanted to slap her silly! I think I'll stay away from this author.

    5. Dimitri apparently fell for Maddie from their first meeting. However, Dimitri is trying to settle a lot of things in order to spend more time w/ Maddie and he seems to have a problem w/ saying the ILY - well except to the OW. He never seemed to know about the serpents in his little eden either. When Maddie has finally had enough of Dimitri catering to the OW and her naïvety in believing the OW - which makes no sense when you think about it - she does a runner. Dimitri manages to track her down [...]

    6. The story begins with the heroine Maddie and the hero Dimitri meeting and then Dimitri following her to England to propose, after what seems like love at first sight. The story picks up three months later with Dimitri being left a note by Maddie saying that their marriage was over. Dimitri tracks her down and forces her back to their marriage with blackmail as her family is in financial trouble. We discover that Maddie had discovered that Dimitri doesn't love her, instead he is still in love wit [...]

    7. I had forgotten I read. Not a good sign.Maddie, our gardening, voluptuous, freckled tiny h is SO stupid I doubt she could tie her own shoes. Her reluctance to cause tension between Dimitri and his uber evil aunt and the even more uber evil OW, Irini, borders on criminally stupid. I mean, there is not causing waves, and then there's having a modicum of common sense. The failure-to-communicate ties with the all-women-are-gold-digging-plotters-especially-when-they-seem-innocent as worst trope ever. [...]

    8. 4 Stars! ~ It was one blazingly hot sweaty day when Dimitri Kouvaris came upon Maddie Ryan in his neighbour’s garden, and immediately he was smitten with her tatty old shorts, dirty face and freckles. He followed her home to England and informed her that in three weeks she was returning home with him to Greece as his wife! With an attraction that was explosive, Maddie couldn’t fight her feelings and quickly gave in to his decree. And now three months later, Dimitri is totally stunned to come [...]

    9. The Oliver is MarriageThis story was about two people who married soon after meeting. But with the help of others the marriage was not in a good place. There was an OW who had prior claims on the H and the H was left with doubts of his commitment to her.

    10. as if you wouldnt tell your husband why you leftimmed most of it as it was just both of them rehashing their thoughts internally of their misconceived reasons. BORING

    11. Aspects of this book were just too weird. People don't really act like this. When you decide to divorce someone, you explain why (even in writing). When you find out you're being divorced, you demand explanations - and you don't pull that, "We're putting it behind us, never mention your reasons to me" stuff either - especially if you still don't know why she wants to leave you. When you hate someone (really hate them!) you don't forget everything just to have sex with them, especially when it go [...]

    12. They meet in Greece and she is a gardener. Love at first sight He follows her to england and proposes. she is told by evil aunt that he doesn't love her, instead he is still in love with a close friend. That close friend ttells her that as she is unable to have children he married in order to get her pregnant then divorce her, taking the child away from her, and will be able to marry her. She leaves him but he follows her and blackmails her with her parents financial problems to return.

    13. Una tonta más Maddie es de aquellas que se creen en todo lo que escuchan de sus rivales y en nada de que su marido hace o dice. Punto para la autora por la "sorpresita" con la rival de Maddie.

    14. I actually like Dimitri in this novel, quite a bit, even though he made some ghastly mistakes. I hated Irini with a passion and wanted to smack her for all the trouble she caused the heroine.
