    1. Focus 2012 promises to be the first of an annual series, taking a selection of pieces that have been shortlisted for Awards either within Australia or from International speculative fiction awards.Interspersed by lovely artwork from Kathleen Jennings, and priced at just under $5 Australian, this is a short and sweet anthology that shouldn’t be missed.“The Wisdom of Ants” by Thoraiya DyerSuch an Australian piece, which is an excellent way to start an anthology that’s all about highlightin [...]

    2. Got this for free for donating to the "Cranky Ladies" anthology on Pozible, but I'd have happily paid money for it if I'd known how good it was. I really enjoyed all but one of the stories; "Significant Dust" was fine, but just didn't grab me the way the others did, especially the simple but creepy concept behind "The Birthday Suit" and the Shirley Jacksonesque "Sky."

    3. It was good, but I really don't like horror, and a fair bit of this was horror. It was very well written horror, but nonetheless, something I didn't enjoy reading. In fact the last story was so horror, that I stopped reading it and declared the book done. For those who like fiction, science fiction and horror, this is definitely for you.

    4. A meeting mixed bag of an anthology. But, wow, the novella at the end, Karen Warron's Sky, almost brought it up a full two stars all by itself. Creepy as.
