    1. Marrying the Single Dad was a sweet, sweet story! Whether following Brittany and her hope to reignite her artistic passion or watching Joe try to make it in a town that only remembers the mistakes of his family, I wanted things to work out for these characters.I also liked the way Joe’s daughter was written. She was very believable and I liked her a lot. She and her dad were going through a rough time with the move and the way she felt about herself as she was growing up. But it was so nice to [...]

    2. A fantastic heartwarming addition to the Harmony Valley series. As expected from this author the writing is superior and the characters are well developed and endearing. 5. I received an ARC from the author. This was a fun story. A nice continuation of the lives of the residents of Harmony Valley. However, it can be read a a stand alone story. 10. I received a free book and voluntarily chose to review it. This story is somewhat more realistic than most other romances. Grab your tissues because the road is rocky for Joe, his daughter and Brittany. The FBI has put his uncle in prison and confiscated his uncle’s belongings which included Joe’s house and his job. I could really feel for Joe and his daughter. It is rough not having enough money to live on. It is nice to read books about people other than those who have great jobs with good [...]

    11. This was my first Melinda Curtis novel and won't be my last! The story starts out with Joe and Sam (Samantha) catching Britt and Reggie "stealing" car parts off his property. Joe had recently moved back home for a fresh, new start in life. He worked as a high-end mechanic to the wealthy. His Uncle owned the business, that's now being investigated by the FBI. So he comes home, to a not so welcoming town.Joe chases Britt off his property with the threat of calling the cops. Britt, unaware that any [...]

    12. I have read many books by Melinda Curtis and I have enjoyed her lighthearted, sweet and funny stories, this one is one of my favs. I enjoyed the characters from page one. Joe. Shaggy Joe, Stoic Joe and of course Heroic Joe ( and I will add in Sexy Joe) all make up this complex single dad that got screwed in life big time. He wants to make a new start with his daughter (sometimes being mistaken as a boy) Sam. Joe is tough as nails and used to be the towns bad boy and his Messina last name doesn' [...]

    16. This Harmony Valley novel was a real treat. I love when I have the time to just sit and read a book that keeps moving until suddenly you realize that it is over. It was wonderful. This is centered around Brittany, a beautician who also has hopes of returning to her passion of turning what some people consider junk into works of art, and Joe, who returns to town with hopes of fixing up and reopening his family garage. He and his 11-year-old daughter, Sam, love to work on vehicles. He was left wit [...]

    17. After a fall out in California with his uncle Joe comes home to Harmony Valley with a daughter and hope for a better life. He just doesn't get the welcome home he was hoping for but will stop at nothing to make a better life for his daughter. Brit followed her twin home and is disappointed that everyone keeps saying that she just into arts and crafts. 19. Oh my goodness, this one made my insides twist and turn with the feels and emotions! I didn't want to put it down. I adore Joe and Brittany and all the misunderstandings and drama that make up their lives. Joe definitely has a past to overcome and conquer in order to make a new life for him and Sam. 21. I've read several of Melinda Curtis's Harmony Valley stories and was excited to revisit the charming setting with its quirky, wonderful, and amusing down-home characters. This story was about Brittany, an upcycle artist and hairdresser, and Joe, an auto mechanic striving to make a living after returning to Harmony Valley. Melinda Curtis creates endearing and relatable characters who come complete with their flaws, insecurities, and shortcomings. Her sense of humor shines throughout the story, an [...]

    22. Joe has to start all over again. He has his pre-teen daughter to worry about so he moves back to his home town. The people only remember the troublemaker that he was when he was a kid. He needs to change the minds of the local people so he can get his business going to support his daughter. Brittany is starting over also. She has come to Harmony Valley to work on her art and is working in her grandfather's barber shop. Joe catches her trying to take a bumper from an old car on his property and t [...]

    23. This is a fun and clean romance. I really like Brit, who is a hairdresser but would rather be re-purposing scraps into art pieces. Joe and his delightful daughter have returned to reopen the family garage. While not necessarily a friendly homecoming, he is determined to make a better life for he and Sam. Sparks fly when they all meet, they just don't know what to do about that. The story is well written and is done so with emotion and tenderness.I look forward to reading more books about the othe [...]

    25. Another great fun heartwarming story in Harmony Valley. It's about courage, forgiveness, trust and learning to love. I couldn't put it down. Joe and his 11 year old daughter Sam return to Harmony Valley to start over and reopen family garage. Brittany also returning to home is a beautician but her real passion is making art out junk. Joe and Brittany have chemistry that sparks. Can Joe and Brittany help each other heal? I loved the characters and enjoyed this book. I voluntarily reviewed an adva [...]

    26. Marrying the single dadJoe and his daughter Sam comes back to Harmony to work at his uncle car shop. But the family has a bad reputation so he has a lot to proof. He meets Britney when she is trying to get car parts for her Art project. I really loved the character Sam, so hard for hard being a daughter of a single dad. This is part of a series but is a stand alone book, so can read without having any others in the series. I received a advance copy of the book and volunteer and review.

    27. I received this as an advance reader copy. This story was truly a joy to read. The characters seem like friends that you'd say hi to across the street. The storyline was brilliant. I think I enjoyed this story because of relating to the ugly duckling. When you read the story you'll understand. I've read other stories by Melinda and have loved every one of them!

    28. This is not the first Melinda Curtis book I have read but it is the first that did not keep me wanting to read. I enjoyed the story but my mind wandered to other books I have red or want to read, or it roamed to the other things that I could be doing. I will read other Melinda Curtis again but this is not Qing to be recommended by me.

    29. I just love the books that Melinda writes and get so excited when one comes in the mail. Her books flow so well that you just want to read and not do anything else that day till you are done. Needless to say this was a wonderful book and a grand slam for Melinda!
