    1. Vampire MoonVampire for Hire, Book 2By: J. R. RainNarrated by: Dina PearlmanThis audible book continues the great vamp story of our soccer mom. She is having real probs with her crazy husband who thinks she will eat her kids. She has new friends. He new job is a very interesting job and opens her eyes to new things. Love this series already! The narration is absolutely perfect!!!

    2. “Vampire Moon” is book two of a 13 book series “Vampire for Hire” featuring Samantha Moon, that begins six years after she was attacked and turned into a vampire. As a reminder to my friends, this series is not lesfic…while there is no steamy sex, the characters are all hetero.“Vampire Moon” picks up immediately after book one, at the end of which Samantha’s husband forced her to leave their home and promised her only limited, and always supervised, contact with her beloved youn [...]

    3. I read the first book, no, I devoured it. I bought the next one even though it was a price point that I wouldn't normally pay for a book this size but I HAD TO HAVE IT. I was excited to read this one because I enjoyed the first so much.I read this one just as fast, just a short two or so hours of reading and I was completely left hanging! I'll come back to that in a bit This book had a similar outline to the first, which is good if you liked it. The plot was a bit odd at times and over dramatic. [...]

    4. This book was great!! I loved the the conversations between her and Fang, and the build up to the end for when they meet. But ugh. you have to wait until the 3 edition book to see who he is!! So of course I couldn't wait and stared the next one. Also just the battle she fights everyday. This is a great series.

    5. Book 18/ 100Book: Vampire Moon (Vampire for Hire #2)Author: J.R. RainASIN: B0046A9PC4ISBN: 978-1257381067Pages: 314Read as part of Samantha Moon by J.R. Rain (ISBN: 978-193785617-5)Vampires, werewolves, crime bosses and cheating sleazebag husbands, oh dear!Samantha Moon (call her Sam) is a Private Investigator, a mom and a currently separated wife. She’s also a vampire. And she’s still coming to terms with all that means. So we join Sam as she picks up the pieces after being kicked out of her [...]

    6. I'm using my personal copy for BYOB (Bring your own Book) month for Wicked Reads 5 StarsIn the second installment of the Vampire for Hire installment, Sam is still dealing with her ex, regarding her children. This portion of the story was frustrating, because she is quite passive with Danny, but I understand from her POV. Sam still loves her ex, simply because he is the father of her children. She's mourning for the life and love they used to have, while realizing who she thought Danny was never [...]

    7. I rated this second book in the Samantha Moon: Vampire for Hire series 3 stars. I rated the first book 4 stars. It’s not that I enjoyed this book less than the first. It’s that it has two pet peeves of mine in abundance, and since I took off one star for the first book, I feel I have to take off two in this one. My first pet peeve is the prolific use of God’s name in vain. I’m sorry. It bothers me. I may be in the minority, I don’t know, but since these are just our opinions, I’m sha [...]

    8. Woooowww this book was amazing! Even better than the first one! I'm glad I got to know a bit more about Sam's past and what her abilities are.

    9. I thought that the first book in the Vampire for Hire series was great; but, "Vampire Moon" is total awesomesauce!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just love the snarky humor and the crzy but believable plots. J.R. Rain is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors. How did I not know about him?"Vampire Moon" begins with our herione, Samantha Moon feeling pretty down on herself. Her lowlive of an ex has been a real jerk limiting her time she can speak to her children as well as her time to see them. She continues [...]

    10. This is the second book in this vampire series. Sam is learning more about her abilities She takes on two new clients, who both have been abused by life. Each of the culprits, seem beyond touch, and are both evil. Meantime she still has her ex husband to try and work around. There is also two men that interest her, and both definitely see her as a beautiful woman. She is also learning how far she will go to help people, and the cost. It is a bit hard seeing her flip from bad killer mode, to lovi [...]

    11. i read both these books in the space of about 5 hours. Wasn't sure about them at first, but got into it quickly. Reading both books back to back like that is a recommendation in itself.

    12. Wow, what a ending. No I gotta read the begining of book 3 before I start on my spring cleaning. I gotta find out who fang is

    13. I loved this book just as much (if not more) than the first one! I am really enjoying this series and the characters!! I can't wait to read book 3!

    14. Whilst I can occasionally enjoy the story of the books the over description, the need to endlessly repeat to the reader what has been told once, twice or many many times before that in book 1 as well makes it a hard read. It has an interesting idea with a very stereotypical vampire that is boring to imagine makes this book a bit of a let down. The problem is that the cliffhangers at the end of each book makes it stop abruptly where you need to read the next one to find out what will happen. I ha [...]

    15. Absolutely loving this series!!! Samantha is witty, and you have a hard time not loving her sarcastic nature. And despite being kicked down by her ex-husband she has a determined spirit that you can't help but identify with. J.R. Rain does an amazing job of making you identify with the characters, and all in all, this is an amazing series. Once you start reading you won't be able to stop! On to book #3!

    16. Love This SeriesThe author's writing style keeps me interested. All of the characters make the story. The good ones and the bad ones. Book two brought book one to a nice close for me. But, book two has left me wanting more. As I said before, Fang is my favorite character. So, I have to read book three to get more of the Fang story. Definitely five stars. On my way to get book three.

    17. Enjoying the tale Well talk about a cliff hanger, but not your typical action packed cliff hanger, but a ‘be still my beating heart’ cliffhanger! Oh whoa is meBook two was very enjoyable. I am glad that she finally dealt with the big problem at home, and is on to bigger and better things. Now off to see what the cliffhanger is going to do to my pulse rate.Oh and still continuing with the audiobook/kindle alternations, and the audiobook is great.

    18. I love reading her life and working out the mysteries in her detecitve service. I will be continuing with her on her many journeys. I nice break away from the YA books that I read and have on my kindle. I'll be in search of these from now on.

    19. SamSo the first one I wasn't really sure. Now I'm sure. So we have this mother vampire who is torn from her kids and fight to get them back. Great storyline. Great characters. Way to go Sam. On to the next one. Thanks

    20. Another good book by J R Rain. I must say that I'm impressed with the depth of the characters asnfd the mysteries that they continue to unveil about themselves. Already looking forward to the next book.

    22. Can't say enough about this series. It's dark, but not too dark, and I love the characters and their interaction. Despite it being way late when I finished, I had to download the next to see if Fang was who I thought he was. Can't wait to read the next one!

    23. WowMy how things have changed!! She really is a good person for a vampire, even tho she didn't know all the powers she had! And she got Danny good lmaoooo good for her! And I'm so curious on who Fang is hmmm could it be Kingsley. Dunno wonder tho

    24. I love this series and you do have to read them in order because they have a big cliff hanger at the end.I want start to read next in series right now! This one was so exciting. Sam is dealing with so many issues going on. Her ex-husband Danny, the cop Sherbert who suspects something about her, the werewolf and Fang wanting to meet just so much going on. This is just a great, great series!

    25. Even better than the first!Moon dance and Gang are still friends, but things are hearing up in other fronts. Sam is barred from seeing her kids, a mob boss is threatening her and her family and another one caused a plane full of people to crash and die. No rest for this P.I.!

    26. Great seriesI have fallen in love all over again. I love the plot and the characters. So far this is one of my favorites. I can't wait to read more. I highly recommend it

    27. The serie is really picking up and I really enjoy it. This one finished a bit on a cliff hanger so started the next book right away.
